CONVENIENT LOCATION: Welcome
to Fresh Pond Ballet, conveniently located at 1798A
Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, one block from the
Porter Square T-stop.
ABOUT FPB:Nina Alonso founded Fresh Pond Ballet in l987
to teach classical ballet, with the goal of bringing grace, joy, strength
and confidence to each child in a non-competitive environment.
THE RANGE OF COURSES: Fresh Pond
Ballet offers eight levels of classes beginning with
two year olds, and continues through teens and adults.
Younger children's classes are grouped by age, but in
the more advanced children's classes skill and level
of training are also important for class placement.
Pointe is begun in level four, but only for properly
prepared dancers. Teen and adult classes round out the
program. For details see the course descriptions. For

HOW TO SIGN
UP FOR CLASSES:
CHILDRENS CLASSES: Please print out
the registration
form, which is located on the current schedule page.
Fill out the form with the selected schedule of classes.
Make your tuition check payable to Fresh Pond Ballet
and send the form in to our mailbox address, 127 LakeView
Ave., Cambridge, Ma., 02138. Your registration will
be activated when we receive the registration form and
tuition. If you have questions about which level of
class is the right one, please call 617-491-5865, our
studio phone. Your call will be returned promptly. You
may also leave your e-mail address at that phone number
and we will answer questions by e-mail.
ADULT CLASSES: Read the adult
information form and the current schedule information.
Our adult program is open and you are welcome to come
to class without pre-registration. Any questions? Please

SAFETY:
SPECIAL SAFETY FEATURES OF FRESH POND BALLET'S FLOOR:
Fresh Pond Ballet's studio has a specially built sprung
floor, built up over rubber cushioning, creating a resilient
sub floor. This resilience means a softer landing for
dancers. Fresh Pond Ballet also has a marley surface,
a special non-skid, non-slip dance vinyl designed for
ease and flow of movement. There are no splinters, no
uneven boards, etc. to hamper movement. Fresh Pond Ballet
is concerned with safety and providing optimum conditions
for learning ballet.
